Idea-Driven Copywriter
Believe it or not-writing copy is a lot like dunking a basketball—endless tries, a few stumbles, and the determination to keep going until you finally nail it.
One summer at home, playing basketball in my backyard, I saw a unique opportunity—what if I could take my love for the game and understanding of what grabs attention, to create something that wasn’t just viral, but culturally impactful? So, I started a TikTok account, experimenting with wild dunk ideas and recording every attempt. Hundreds of tries, countless falls, and hours of effort later, I would finally get the perfect dunk recorded. What began as a small project, quickly took off. People around the world loved it. Celebrities were liking, commenting, and even sliding into my DMs. Before I knew it, I was in sporting goods ads, collaborating with brands, and featured on major Instagram and TikTok accounts. But the ultimate cherry on top? Landing a spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10.
It wasn’t just about going viral—it was about adding to today’s culture, with dunks that sparked new trends globally, inspiring other creators to do the same. It proved that any idea, even the way we dunk a basketball, can leave a lasting mark.
